Nurturing your handmade treasures
At Floretta's Sanctuary, we pour our heart into every handmade item. To ensure your unique purchases bring you lasting joy and beauty, proper care is essential. Discover our tips and guidelines to help your handmade soaps, candles, oils, and trays maintain their quality for years to come.

Caring for handmade candles
To enjoy your handmade candle safely and help it last longer, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface to help prevent tunneling. Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Keep the candle away from drafts, pets, children, and flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop using the candle when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Maintaining handmade soaps and oils
Our handmade soaps are crafted with nourishing ingredients and will last longest with proper care. Allow soap to dry between uses. Use a draining soap dish so water can flow away, and avoid leaving the soap sitting in water. Store unused bars in a cool, dry place. For external use only; if irritation occurs, discontinue immediately and seek medical help if needed.
Our handmade room and linen sprays are designed to freshen your space and fabrics; shake well before each use. Spray lightly into the air on two minutes from about 8 to 12 in away test on a small hidden area of fabric before full use do not spray directly on delicate fabrics such as silk or leather avoid contact with eyes face and skin keep away from heat flames and direct sunlight keep out of reach of children and pets for external use only do not ingest.

Care for rolling trays and ash trays
Each resin tray is individually handmade and one-of-a-kind. To clean, wipe with a clean, soft, damp cloth. Do not place in a dishwasher. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve color. Do not expose to high temperatures or leave in a hot vehicle, as resin can soften or warp. Handle with care to avoid chips or cracks if dropped. These trays are intended for organization or rolling purposes and are not designed for preparing or serving food.
The beauty of handmade quality
Each handcrafted item from Floretta's Sanctuary may have slight variations in color, scent, pattern, or finish. These natural differences are a cherished part of the handmade process and make each piece truly unique. Thank you for choosing handmade and supporting our small business in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We appreciate your trust and hope you enjoy your purchase!
